Mateo joined Rolston Lab in Fall of 2025 through the Barrett College Fellows (BCF) program. His current research focuses on how the electrical properties of thin-film metal oxide transistors
are affected by open-air plasma annealing treatments. He strives to make transistor manufacturing and processing more time and cost efficient. Outside of the lab, Mateo enjoys travelling and visiting family, playing video games, and learning as much as he can about the world around him.
