Dane joined the Rolston Lab in Summer 2025. His research focuses on the surface and chemical interactions between plasma and battery half-cells, aiming to improve oxygen electrode and electrolyte bonding in hydrogen cells via plasma treatment. He is passionate about optimizing sustainable energy production and storage to make strides towards a greener future. Outside of the lab, Dane enjoys reading science fiction, playing volleyball, and drinking lots of coffee.
