Berrak Joined the Rolston Lab in Spring 2023 as a volunteer and is going to continue as a part of the Grand Challenges Scholar Program (GCSP) and the SURI Program. She is working to understand the effects of film stress/strain in perovskites and how it influences ionic and mechanical properties through working with the PAIOS and fracture testing systems. Outside of lab and school she likes spending time outside, snowboarding, and playing instruments.
