Alex joined the Rolston Lab in Fall 2023 as part of the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI) program. Her research focuses on understanding how the chemomechanics (the mechanical, electrical and material properties) of solid-state battery thin film energy devices react under stresses in order to better understand their future manufacturing capabilities. Her interest for this lab stems from her passion for sustainability and its connection to renewable energy and the built environment. Outside of the lab, Alex enjoys listening to music, watching videos about space and traveling with friends and family.
