April 2024 – Fourteen students presented their research at the Spring Fulton Forge Student Research Expo! Bea also won the GCSP featured undergraduate award!
April 2024 – Selva defended his Master’s thesis! Also, Adam, Grace, Sanjin, and David defended their undergraduate theses!

December 2023 – Ten undergraduates presented their research at the Fall Fulton Forge Student Research Expo! Hanson also won the FURI featured undergraduate award!
Also, Carsen and Muneeza were featured in a post by the ASU Core Research Facilities!
November 2023 – Kay defended her undergraduate thesis!

September 2023 – Gabe was interviewed for an article on Solid State Batteries, and Mason was interviewed for his work characterizing perovskite-silicon tandems!
Also, Erin presented her NASA Space Grant work at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Madi won an award for presenting her summer research at Brown University’s Initiative for Sustainable Energy!
June 2023 – Four PhD students presented talks at the IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference in Puerto Rico! Congrats to Charles, Mason, Muneeza, and Vineeth!
May 2023 – Seven undergraduate students joined the lab for summer research (and hopefully beyond!) Welcome to Shree, Chanese, HJ, Favian, Madi, Bea, and Keven!
April 2023 – Erin and Carsen both defended their undergraduate theses! Also, seven undergraduates presented their research at the Spring Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative symposium! Congrats to Adianne, Carsen, Erin, Rodrigo, Hithesh, Gabe, and Kay!
February 2023 – We had a ribbon cutting ceremony for our lab opening!
January 2023 – Erin earned a Bidstrup Foundation Fellowship and Carsen is featured on the frontpage of the Summer Research Initiative!
December 2022 – Eight undergraduate students earned FURI Research Awards on their research projects for Spring 2023. Congrats to Adianne, Hithesh, Isak, Kay, Rodrigo, Erin, Gabe, and Carsen!

February 2022 – We toured the Solar Fab at Macrotechnology Works as a class field trip for EEE465/591 Photovoltaic Energy Conversion to see how silicon PV modules are fabricated at ASU!
